COI Required Investigator Training

Financial conflicts of interest training is required for all investigators who apply for, receive, plan to participate in, or are participating in sponsored programs activities administered through the Research Foundation for SUNY

COI training must be completed prior to submitting COI disclosure. COI training is provided via the online CITI Training Program. Training certification is effective for four (4) years after completion.

Investigators are required to complete the CITI “Managing Conflicts of Interest in Research” course

Please note: It takes approximately 24 hours for CITI certification data to automatically upload into the SUNY PACS system. You will not be able to complete the COI certification in the SUNY PACS system until the certification information has uploaded into CITI. Please be sure to allow at least 24 hours between CITI COI training completion and submission of you COI disclosure certification in SUNY PACS.
