Vashtee Chunoo

Vashtee Chunoo currently serves as the Administrative Manager for the Massry School of Business, working in close partnership with the Vice Dean to support the school’s fiscal operations. She organizes and tracks financial activity across multiple accounts, helping ensure expenditures align with designated funding sources.

Vashtee earned her Bachelor of Arts from UAlbany in 2018, having transferred in as a student in 2016 from SCCC. She returned to the University in a professional capacity in July 2022, initially serving as an Administrative Assistant before stepping into her current role in March 2024.

Today, she works alongside several former professors as colleagues and is part of a proud UAlbany family. Her siblings are alumni, and her parents are members of the University staff.

Outside of work, Vashtee is either watching The Office (again), or spending time with family and friends. More recently, she’s taken a deep dive into the world of plants, variegated varieties in particular, and enjoys tending to her ever-expanding collection.
