CNSE Scholarships and Travel Awards

Financial Support for CNSE Students

The College of Nanotechnology, Science and Engineering (CNSE) offers a broad range of scholarships and travel awards to our undergraduate and graduate students, totaling more than $120,000 each year.

CNSE’s scholarships target non-tuition expenses (textbooks, room and board, and transportation to campus) to provide students with the largest overall scholarship and grant package possible.

Some New York State financial aid programs, such as the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) and Excelsior Scholarship, require that universities apply other scholarships or grants toward tuition before their funds can be applied. For questions about New York State aid, please contact Financial Aid.

Visit UAlbany’s Cost & Aid website for detailed information about other scholarships, grants and other financial aid.

For more information on CNSE scholarships and/or travel awards, please contact Valerie Swenson Littlefield, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and Engagement, at [email protected].
