Join us in making a difference: become a UAlbany Class Gift Ambassador!
Through grassroots, student-led campaign and the power of peer networks, including social media, we will highlight the importance of giving and encourage new graduates to support the university long after they leave campus.
We are looking for juniors and seniors to spread the word to friends, clubs, and campus organizations about how graduating students (undergrad or graduate!) will be eligible to receive a purple & white generosity cord to wear at commencement by making a gift of $20.26+ in support of their favorite program, department or campus initiative.
How does UAlbany Class Gift Ambassador program work?
Each Class Gift Ambassador will be provided with a personal giving link for sharing. Additionally, you can create your own advocacy dashboard on our platform to track the donations you generate. The Class Gift Campaign page will showcase all the ambassador advocacy efforts.

UAlbany Class Gift Ambassador benefits:
As an ambassador you will:
- be included in a special student team appreciation event as a thank you for your efforts;
- receive a UAlbany Fund stole to wear at commencement (the year you are graduating) as a token of our appreciation for your advocacy;
- be able to add leadership & community service to your resume!
