UAlbany Student Celebrates Fulbright ETA to Belgium
ALBANY, N.Y. (October 16, 2020) - Congratulations to Beverly Beaudette for being awarded a Fulbright ETA to Belgium. She will be teaching at the Université catholique de Louvain, a French-speaking University in Louvain, just outside of Brussels. She is excited to teach English, learn more about Belgian culture, improve her French, and learn some Dutch!
Beverly graduated from UAlbany with a MS in TESOL and also holds a double degree from Siena College (BA French, BS Accounting). She has presented research at the NYS TESOL and the TESOL International conferences and currently teaches English as a New Language for grades K-5 in Guilderland. Beverly is interested in multilingual and multi-culturally responsive educational practices and literacy for English Language Learners and hopes to resume her studies when she returns to the States. In her free time she enjoys reading, baking, and learning about new cultures, foods, and languages.
