The Center for Healthy Aging is situated organizationally within the Institute for Social and Health Equity (ISHE), a University-wide interdisciplinary hub that advances innovative research, workforce development and community collaboration to promote healthy aging and longevity.
The Center builds on UAlbany’s strategic vision to lead the nation in aging-related science, translating cutting-edge findings into practice and improving the lives of older adults.

The vision of the Center is to improve all aspects of aging, to prevent age-related diseases, and to decrease the economic burden of age-related pathological and social disorders.
