Disability Access & Inclusion Student Services (DAISS)
Due to limited staff and high volume of requests, please allow a few days for us to get back to you.
We are available for in-person appointments in our Campus Center 130 office or virtual appointments via Zoom. You can select your preference when requesting an appointment.
Appointments are available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, with the last appointment of the day starting at 3 p.m.
We offer hour-long and 30-minute slots. Please always allow up to an hour for registration appointments.
Anyone is welcome to request an appointment, including current students, new students, prospective students and their families. Faculty and staff may also request an appointment.
Use drop-in hours to ask questions about accommodations, procedures, appointment confirmations, and quick tips. Drop-in hours cannot be used for academic coaching or registration.
You can attend our drop-in hours either in person by coming into our Campus Center 130 office or virtually via Zoom.
Drop-in hours are as follows:
Monday: 11 a.m. to noon
Tuesday: Noon to 1 p.m.
Wednesday: 2 to 3 p.m.
Thursday: 1 to 2 p.m.

In the event we need to cancel our drop-in hours unexpectedly, we will post the news on the UAlbany DAISS Facebook page. Scheduled cancellations will appear on this webpage.
We strongly recommend contacting DAISS by email, as our small staff is not always available by phone.
