NYC Anti-Violence Project Capacity Building Initiative
The New York City Anti-Violence Project empowers lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and HIV-affected communities and allies to end all forms of violence through organizing and education, and supports survivors through counseling and advocacy
Program Development
Through a grant from the New York Women’s Foundation, the CHSR will work with the NYC Anti-Violence Project (AVP) to understand their program goals, activities, and outcomes, focusing on the area of partner violence; develop logic models for each program; and support AVP’s development of program-specific outcome measures. There are currently no comprehensive outcome measures in the partner violence field for LGBT individuals.
