Associate Dean of International Initiatives and longtime finance faculty Rita Biswas continues to work towards opening UAlbany School of Business doors to more international students. The school is working with five highly ranked international partners across Vietnam, India and Italy.
“I am excited that the UAlbany School of Business classrooms are about to become even more internationalized. Imagine the peer-to-peer learning that can happen between our domestic students and top students from around the globe!” said Biswas.
The Roma Tre (Italy) articulation agreement has been approved and is expected to be signed by President Rodriguez later this spring. Their graduate students will spend one year at their home institution and the second year at UAlbany, earning a dual degree, an MBA or an MS in digital forensics. Students are being admitted to this dual-degree program now, enrolling in the first year at Roma Tre this fall, 2020 and are expected to start classes at UAlbany in the fall of 2021.
An agreement with the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) has been approved. NMIMS undergraduate students are currently sophomores in their home institution in India and are expected at the UAlbany School of Business in August, 2020. They will complete their junior and senior years in Albany and earn dual bachelor degrees, from NMIMS as well as UAlbany.
