Margaret Adkins
About

Professor Adkins teaches various business law classes at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in the School of Business. She also serves as the Law Area Coordinator for the adjunct law faculty in the Department of Accounting and Law. Margaret is an attorney and served as a Town Justice in the Town of New Scotland and Village Justice in the Village of Voorheesville as well as an appointed City Court Judge in several local courts before launching a full-time career in higher education. Before joining the faculty at SUNY Albany, Margaret was an assistant professor at Southern Vermont College teaching business law and criminal justice courses; she has also taught business law at Siena College and Hudson Valley Community College. Of particular interest to Margaret are the areas of business ethics, product liability, and white-collar crime.
