About

Faculty Expertise and Achievement

Ayub Salik has amassed over 30 years of multinational industry experience. Throughout his career, he has held numerous significant management positions in various sectors, including Business, Construction, Mining, Oil & Gas, Glass, Software, and Consulting. Currently, Ayub is a self-employed management consultant who dedicates his full-time efforts to serving as a Performance Manager at Callanan - CRH – North. 
Since 2017, Ayub has also served as an adjunct faculty member. Within this role, he imparts his extensive knowledge by teaching graduate courses in the Finance and ISBA departments for the School of Business. His areas of expertise include Operations Management, Quantitative Analysis, Economic Analysis, Database Management, Advanced Excel, as well as Project Management and Managerial Skills. 
Moreover, Ayub delivers tailor-made seminars on project management and managerial tools upon request by SUNY Polytech research scientists. Ayub derives great satisfaction from blending his contemporary professional knowledge with the established curriculum offered by the Massry School of Business. By doing so, he aims to empower his students and fully enhance their academic experience possible.

Research Interests

His research interests encompass a wide range of topics, including Change Management, Lean Manufacturing, Performance Management, Energy Management, Quality Management, Process Improvement, Project Management, Artificial Intelligence, executive Coaching and New Venture Development.

  • He actively participates as a member of ASQ, SPE, and PMI.
