Areas of expertise: autism spectrum disorders
Emma received a B.A. degree in psychology from Middlebury College. Emma worked at a specialized summer camp for children on the autism spectrum to promote social skills and build friendships. Prior to joining CARD, Emma worked as a clinical research coordinator at the Seaver Autism Center at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai where she was involved in a clinical trial of oxytocin for children affected by developmental disabilities as well as biomarker research using eye-tracking devices. She also contributed to a project at the Seaver Autism Center focused on improving access to care and parent advocacy for minorities in the New York City area. Emma is currently enrolled as a clinical doctoral student at the University at Albany, SUNY.
