About CARD Research

CARD Albany has many opportunities for participating in and conducting research

As both a research lab and the headquarters for a statewide network of Regional Centers for Autism Spectrum Disorders (RCASD), the Center for Autism seeks to educate parents and professionals about autism spectrum disorders as well as to conduct evidence-based behavioral and social skills interventions. As a part of the University at Albany, the Center for Autism offers independent study opportunities for undergraduate students through the Psychology department. The Center also offers graduate assistantships through the clinical psychology doctoral program, where students have the opportunity to work alongside individuals with expertise in autism.
