Former ASRC Director Dr. Prof. Volker Armin Mohnen Passes Away
Former ASRC Director Dr. Prof. Volker Armin Mohnen passed away in Germany on June 5, 2022. Volker came to the U.S. in the late 1960s as a research associate in the newly-established Atmospheric Sciences Research Center at UAlbany. He matriculated to a senior research scientist and professor in the Department of Atmospheric Sciences, eventually becoming ASRC Director. Read his obituary in the Times Union.
