Learning Beyond the Classroom

The University at Albany and Albany Law School Affiliation creates new pathways for students from both schools and broadens their access to academic programs and other resources. The two institutions are able to provide an expanded range of services and greater access to academic and other facilities offering more opportunities in, and outside the classroom.

SUNY Legal Fellowship at Albany Law School

Graduate and undergraduate students who are accepted for admission to Albany Law School will be offered a significant tuition scholarship. Students must apply for, be accepted, and enroll at Albany Law School. 

The University at Albany and Albany Law School have a shared goal: to educate and train the next generation of leaders. We expect to introduce many more collaborative programs moving forward.

 

Law Career Advising

Through the University at Albany and Albany Law School Affiliation, UAlbany students have access to career advisement by Albany Law advisors.

Albany Law advisors will provide career and law school advice at the University campus regularly through the University’s Office of Career and Professional Development. This advising can help UAlbany students with career and professional development if they are interested in law school or attending Albany Law.

Students may schedule an appointment with the Albany Law School advisors by using the Handshake system.

3+3 Accelerated Law Program

After three years at the University at Albany, the student completes the fourth year as a first-year student at Albany Law School. Learn more about the 3+3 Accelerated Law Program with Albany Law School.

Recreation Services 

The University at Albany and Albany Law School Affiliation includes a Fitness Center/Gym Membership to the University's recreational facilities for Albany Law School students, faculty and staff.
