WGSS Students Present their Work at the Capital District Feminist Studies Consortium Conference

Congratulations to WGSS students Arezoo Hajighorbani, Sarah Amplo, Sydney Lemire and Alex Perry (WGSS/Sociology), who presented their research at the 11th Annual Capital District Feminist Studies Consortium Conference.

The conference was hosted by the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences on February 3, 2023, and it showcased the scholarship of students and faculty in the region. As the conference organizers put it: “Capitalizing on a robust and accomplished concentration of scholars, teachers, and students in and around the Capital District who are interested in feminist and gender studies (broadly conceived), this conference is an opportunity for interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration.” The Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Department at UAlbany is proud to be part of the Consortium
