WGSS MA Student Boluwatife Ajayi Represents UAlbany in the 2022 Women's Empowerment Draft

Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies MA Student Boluwatife Ajayi is representing the University at Albany in the 2022 Women's Empowerment Draft. UAlbany is honoring Susan S. McKinney in the draft.

The 2022 Women's Empowerment Draft is a New York statewide initiative to honor empowering women during Women's History Month. The project aims to "pay tribute to 31 such icons through these colorful trading cards, basketball jerseys with icons’ portraits, and an on-line draft ceremony starring students from K-12 schools & partnering SUNY & CUNY colleges — shared on Int’l Women’s Day on 3/8/2022."
