What is UAlbany Showcase?
Entering its second year, UAlbany Showcase shines a light on the academic excellence of our students across all programs and fields.
On display will be the work of undergraduate and graduate students, including their research, scholarship, creative endeavors and applied/experiential learning.
Showcase will be a full day of poster displays, oral presentations, demonstrations, panel discussions, recitals, art exhibitions and performances that reflect new and original exploration of topics in STEM, arts and humanities, social sciences and the professions.
Presentations will reflect all nine of UAlbany’s schools and colleges, as well as many of our research centers and institutes. Research events and exhibits that used to be held separately — such as the CEHC Showcase, the School of Public Health Poster Day and the MFA Show — have been moved to this day.

Join us from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2024, on the Uptown Campus. Register to attend.
Once you register, you'll be able to access the Showcase Day program. We encourage you to download the Whova app to explore presentations, interact with other attendees and more.

When and where will Showcase be held?
Showcase 2024 is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2024, on UAlbany’s Uptown Campus.
Events will be held across the Uptown Campus, including the Lecture Center Concourse, Campus Center, University Art Museum, University Libraries, Performing Arts Center, ETEC and newly renovated Broadview Center.

Showcase will appeal to the following audiences:
- UAlbany students, faculty and staff
- Prospective students and their families
- Families of the student presenters
- Students from local middle and high schools
- UAlbany alumni
- Donors and prospective donors
- State and local government and business leaders
- Institutional and community partners
School group registration closes April 19, 2024. Individual registration will remain open until Showcase Day.
