Do Trump’s January 6th Actions Disqualify Him from the Presidency?

Friday, February 2, 2024  •  12-1pm  •  Via Zoom

On December 19, the Colorado Supreme Court ruled that Donald Trump is disqualified from holding the office of the presidency Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which prohibits anyone who swore an oath to support the Constitution and then engaged in insurrection against it from holding office. Trump appealed the decision and the Supreme Court is scheduled to hear oral arguments on February 8. Rockefeller College experts Julie Novkov and Stephan Stohler will discuss both sides of the argument and the potential impacts of the Supreme Court’s ruling. Register in advance to receive the Zoom link.
