Challenge yourself and prepare to change the world by attending this exciting one-day conference hosted by the University at Albany’s nationally ranked Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy! You will learn from and interact with diverse public policy leaders to gain a better understanding of career options in public service, public policy, and public management, how elements of diversity have impacted their careers, and the knowledge and skills to get you where you want to be.

Panel discussion on effectuating change and confronting complex policy issues led by public policy and nonprofit leaders.

Work with a team to develop a solution to a current real-world policy challenge.

Informational sessions on navigating professional etiquette and networking. Talk to professionals, faculty, and current students about your career goals and educational opportunities.

THERE IS NO COST TO ATTEND!

Students must provide their own transportation to and from Albany, NY. The University at Albany campus is easily accessible, located minutes from the New York State Thruway.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Underrepresented undergraduate students through recent graduates (1 year) with an interest in public policy and working in the public sector, both domestically and abroad. All majors are welcome.
