About
Much of Jung’s current work centers on two broad areas across K–12 education policy and health service delivery. The first investigates the intersection of education and health, examining how education systems can improve children’s health and behavior. Using quasi-experimental designs, Jung evaluates the effects of three different approaches, including curriculum mandates, targeted financial aid and school-based health services. Another examines how frontline workers navigate institutional constraints in collaborative settings. Jung’s qualitative research explores how workers respond to implementation challenges and repair breakdowns in service delivery across organizational boundaries.

Research Interests
Miyeun Jung’s research asks how public policies and their implementation can create more effective and equitable outcomes in society. Drawing on insights from public administration and applied microeconomics, Jung’s work focuses on the contexts of education and health, using both quantitative and qualitative methods and leverage administrative and survey data and interviews.
Instruction & Advising
Courses
Jung is passionate about teaching, and her teaching interests include policy analysis, education policy and applied microeconomics. Methodologically, Jung teaches statistical analysis and applied causal inference.
