In addition, the Berglund Lab is working to identify biomarkers that are useful for clinical trials and screen small molecules that have the potential to treat DM. One of his roles as a member of the MDF SAC will be to provide advice on the strategic plans of the foundation to improve the lives of the families affected by DM.
