We encourage RF employees leaving the University to review the following information.
Salaried employees, whether exempt and non-exempt, are paid to date.
Hourly employees receive their final paycheck on the pay period following their final time report is submitted.
If you are eligible for vacation payout, you’ll receive up to 30 days of your remaining accrual balance on the pay period following your final paycheck. All employees need to submit their final timecard to receive the vacation payout.
If you have health insurance through RFHR, your medical, dental and vision coverage will continue for 28 days after your termination date.
Note: Fellows enrolled in health insurance lose coverage on their termination date.
You will be mailed a COBRA letter from PayFlex with information on how to continue your insurance(s) for up to 18 months (about 1 and a half years).
