Sarah Fullington

Sarah joined the University at Albany as a Research Development Specialist in April 2026. She works in the Office of Strategic Initiatives within the Division of Research & Economic Development, where she supports the development of strategic, large-scale research initiatives and sponsored proposals.

Sarah brings a strong background in mixed-methods and applied research, with experience as a research scientist, educator, National Science Foundation (NSF) funded postdoctoral research fellow, evaluation and grant writing consultant, and NSF proposal reviewer. Her work has focused broadly on STEM, STEM education, research evaluation, and the development and assessment of programs and initiatives.

Drawing on her experience in research, evaluation, grant development and project management, Sarah supports faculty and research teams in developing competitive proposals, building strategic partnerships and translating innovative ideas into impactful research initiatives.
