Student Information Rating Forms - SIRF

End-of-Term University Course Evaluations

The Office of Institutional Research, Planning and Effectiveness manages the end-of-term course evaluation system with the UAlbany acronym SIRF (Student Information Rating Forms).

Courses are selected for SIRF by the Academic Departments in People Soft (IAS) within the general limits that a course must have a minimum of 4 or more non-withdrawn students to provide a sufficient pool to protect the confidentiality of students who submit responses.  If your course does not have an end-of-term course evaluation listed on your MyUAlbany course listing and you would like an evaluation, please contact your academic department.

For early-term course surveys designed to improve a course while it is still being delivered, please contact CATLOE, the Center for the Advancement of Teaching, Learning, and Online Education.

Logging onto the SIRF system from MyUAlbany or Brightspace:

You can use the top search spy glass and type in "SIRF" to find the link to the course evaluation system.

From MyUAlbany use Search to find the SIRF log in.

What if I have a different question?
