About the CAA
The Council on Academic Assessment is responsible for developing campus policies and to ensure compliance with external policies related to academic assessment. This Council will have oversight of mandated or cyclical reviews of continuing academic programs. As further expanded upon in the Charter of the University Senate, SectionX.6.3: The Executive Committee of the Senate.

Subcommittees
Academic Program Review Committee
Responsible for ensuring and overseeing periodic reviews of each of the University’s academic programs, with consideration for external accreditation cycles. In addition this Committee is responsible for ensuring compliance with SUNY-mandated assessment of undergraduate majors, graduate degrees and certificate programs. General Education Assessment Committee
The General Education Assessment Committee shall be responsible for establishing and overseeing reviews of the General Education Program. For further information: Please refer to the Charter of the University Senate, Section X.6.6.
