About

Colleen Davis joined the Graduate School in January 2012. She is currently responsible for overseeing the Academic Affairs unit of the Graduate School. This includes the following areas: review and conferral of graduate degrees, graduate student records maintenance, registration and degree exceptions, student program adjustments, transfer/advanced standing credit, dismissals/program withdrawals, and graduate student progress reports. Ms. Davis is the supporting staff for the Graduate Academic Council and its committees. She administers and enforces graduate academic policy and serves as the authorizing agent for petitions for policy waivers/exceptions. She oversees maintenance of the Graduate Bulletin, manages the process to amend/create graduate curriculum, and oversees the processing of Course Action Forms. 

Prior to joining the Graduate School, Colleen served as Assistant Registrar in the University at Albany's Office of the Registrar from August 2003 to January 2012. She is an alumnus of the University at Albany, having earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with a dual major in Psychology and Criminal Justice and her Master of Arts degree in Criminal Justice.
