Two Immersion Lab Papers Accepted at IEEE Haptics Symposium 2026
The Immersion Lab is excited to share that two Work-in-Progress (WIP) papers from our team have been accepted for presentation at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Haptics Symposium 2026, which will be held in Reno, Nevada, from March 29 to April 1, 2026.
The accepted papers are titled:
- “Development of a Haptic Enabled Video Calling Platform”
- “Haptic Enabled AI Driven Eyewear to Enhance Social Engagement”
These ongoing research contributions in haptics and wearable tactile interaction systems, with a focus on enhancing social connection and user engagement through innovative haptic technologies.
Immersion Lab founder and principal investigator Dr. Aishwari Talhan will present both papers at the symposium on March 30, 2026. This opportunity involves engaging with the international haptics research community and sharing insights into our latest developments.
The IEEE Haptics Symposium is a premier international forum that brings together researchers and practitioners working on haptic interfaces, perception and applications. Our participation underscores our commitment to advancing innovation and knowledge in the field of haptics and wearable systems.
We look forward to presenting our work and exchanging ideas with fellow researchers at IEEE Haptics 2026.
