About

Aishwari Talhan earned a B.E. degree in Information Technology and an M.E. in Embedded Systems and Computing from Nagpur University, India, and obtained her PhD in Computer Engineering from Kyung Hee University, South Korea.

She is an affiliated faculty member in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department and serves as a Research Scientist within the Office of the Vice President for Research at the University at Albany, New York, USA. Dr. Talhan's research includes haptics, wearables, soft haptics, extended reality (XR), human-computer interaction (HCI), artificial intelligence (AI), rehabilitation engineering, medical training, and simulation engineering.

She has previously held the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow at McGill University in Canada and at Kyung Hee University in South Korea. Additionally, she served as an Assistant Professor at Nagpur University in India and gained experience in the software industry as a Developer in Bengaluru, India. She is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
