Deque University

SUNY has entered into an agreement with Deque University to provide accessibility training across all SUNY campuses. All UAlbany faculty and staff can request free access.

Choose from 30 asynchronous, online courses that are valuable for anyone who create digital materials. The courses are self-paced and take from 30 minutes to 6 hours to complete. Review SUNY's course recommendations to get started.

Deque University also offers accessibility checklists and an accessibility-focused AI chatbot that can answer specific questions.


 

Siteimprove Learning Hub

The Siteimprove Learning Hub offers video-based accessibility trainings. Explore available Siteimprove courses (no sign-in required) to review current offerings.

The Center for the Advancement of Teaching, Learning, and Online Education (CATLOE) offers several video-based trainings explaining how to locate, create and share accessible course materials.

Web Accessibility Training

Learn the what, how and why of digital accessibility by completing Web Services' Web Accessibility Training.

This asynchronous, online training has eight self-paced modules, which each take less than 30 minutes to complete. This course is required for all University site editors, but all UAlbany students, faculty and staff have access.
