WGSS Faculty Recognized during Research and Entrepreneurship Week
Faculty members associated with Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies (WGSS) were recognized as Outstanding Researchers and Scholars during Research & Entrepreneurship Week 2025.
Honorees:
- Dr. Rajani Bhatia, Core WGSS Faculty
- Dr. Kori Graves, History & WGSS Affiliated Faculty
- Dr. Angie R. Wootton, School of Social Welfare & WGSS Affiliated Faculty
Dr. Bhatia was recognized for "scholarly excellence in reproductive health, population science, and health disparities."
Dr. Graves' award highlighted her "outstanding research on the impact of the Cold War and civil rights movements on transracial and transnational adoption, citizenship, and Black family life."
Dr. Wooton was recognized for "outstanding research on the impact of social support, policy environments, and legal changes on the mental and behavioral health and resilience of sexual minority women."
