The Artificial Intelligence for Business microcredential equips you with the expertise to harness AI technologies for real-world business applications. You'll learn how to streamline operations, enhance decision-making and solve complex challenges across key areas such as marketing, finance, human resources, cybersecurity and accounting.

To earn the microcredential, you’ll complete three graduate-level courses—BFOR 515, BFOR 516, and BFOR 626—taught by leading faculty in the field. You'll also gain access to UAlbany’s robust alumni network and valuable business connections through the Massry School of Business.


Additional Information:

The AI for Business microcredential is stackable and will put you on a path to completing an MS in Digital Forensics and Cyber Security or MS in Business Analytics from the School of Business.

This 9-credit program includes three courses:

  1. BFOR 515 Tools for AI and Data Analytics: Learn the basic skills for building AI models.
  2. BFOR 516 Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics: Gain advanced AI skills for creating models.
  3. BFOR 626 Business Applications of Artificial Intelligence: Develop applications related to different domains.
