Professor Ying Awarded Two NSF Grants in Machine Learning

In 2021 alone, Math and Statistics Professor Yiming Ying has been awarded two grants from the NSF: One from the NSF's program on computational mathematics for "New Studies of Learning with Stochastic Convex Optimization" (https://www.nsf.gov/awardsearch/showAward?AWD_ID=2110836) and the second grant is through the NSF's program on robust intelligence for "Robust Deep Learning with Big Imbalanced Data" (https://www.nsf.gov/awardsearch/showAward?AWD_ID=2110546).
