Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications Celebrates Dual Degree Program with UAlbany
ALBANY NY (September 22, 2020) - Opening Ceremonies in Chongqing, China - In 2016, UAlbany began its dual-degree partnership with the Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications in Chongqing, China. Through this partnership, students can earn two Bachelor of Science degrees in Software Engineering and Computer Science.
On Wednesday, September 22, 2020, the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences Associate Dean for Research, Won Namgoong; the Interim Dean for International Education, Gilbert Valverde; Director of International Admissions & Recruitment, John Pomeroy; and Director of International Academic Partnerships and International Academic Advising, Rachel Moody, participated in the Fall opening ceremonies, offering words of welcome and advice to approximately 100 freshmen entering this arrangement. Pomeroy and Moody also answered students questions about UAlbany.
