About
Cara Macri has served as the Director of Preservation Services for Historic Albany Foundation for 18 years, providing technical assistance to historic property owners, working on local and National Register nominations to increase historic districts in Albany, developing educational programs from walking tours to DIY historic trade classes, etc. She is the project manager for the restoration of the Van Ostrande-Radliff House, the oldest building in Albany.
Outside her Historic Albany duties, Cara is the author and illustrator of a children's architectural ABC book and served on the Board of Directors for the Troy Proctors' Foundation and Aberdeen Room Archives and Museum.
