Special Notes: This program is not available to international applicants. There are three standard admission cycle reviews for this program.  The March deadline is based on available space only.  Applications must be PROCESSED and complete by the March deadline date to be considered for “Late” review.  Please allow sufficient time as applications received after the deadline date will not be reviewed.

You must send an evaluation form in with your application. Links to evaluation forms can be found here.  A minimum 3.0 undergraduate GPA is required. The ETAP Department also requires one of the following entrance exams:  GRE, edTPA, GMAT or Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators. Please contact the PIE Center (518-442-3529) with questions regarding the entrance exam requirement. Your examination results are evaluated as a portion of the overall admission package and a lower score does not mean an automatic denial if the other elements of the application are strong. Please contact the Pathways in Education (PIE) Center, if you have any admissions requirement questions.

Please note: admission is contingent upon application materials and departmental interview. Interviews are by invitation only.

Please note: This program requires an internship, field experience, study abroad component, or clinical experience requirement. Students who have previously been convicted of a felony are advised that their prior criminal history may impede their ability to complete the requirements of certain academic programs and/or to meet licensure requirements for certain professions.  If applicants have concerns about this matter please contact the Dean’s Office of the intended academic program.
