About

Soha Acosta joined the Graduate School in January 2018. She is responsible for the strategic recruitment and marketing for all graduate programs regionally, nationally and internationally. She also overseas all admissions and operations processes for the Graduate School. As a Designated Signatory Official (DSO) for the office, she creates initial I-20’s for graduate students.

Prior to joining the Graduate School, Soha worked with international students at different institutions at both the undergraduate, graduate and English language levels beginning in 2013. She has prior experience at The College at Brockport (SUNY) as well as Siena College. Soha has her Bachelor of Arts from The College at Brockport (SUNY) in Spanish and French as well as her Master of Arts from The University of Georgia in Spanish linguistics.

Soha is also a part-time lecturer of Spanish for UAlbany's Department of Languages, Literatures & Cultures.
