Your tax-deductible donation can support English students’ activities beyond the classroom.
Every year, the English Department depends on gifts from our generous alumni and benefactors to support many of our events and student activities. Gifts of all sizes are welcome and appreciated!
Your donation will help us to:
- Support our graduate students' and English Honors students’ travel to present their research and creative writing at local, regional, and national conferences
- Fund our annual Graduate Research and Writing Conference, which is organized by the English Graduate Student Organization and featuring the scholarship and creative writing of our MA and PhD students
- Underwrite our annual Undergraduate Research and Writing Conference, which features scholarship and creative writing by any student enrolled in one of our undergraduate English and Creative Writing courses
- Partially fund invited lectures and creative writing readings by internationally renowned literary scholars, poets, and fiction writers
- Provide assistance for publishing and growing the readerships of Barzakh and Arch, our student-run creative writing magazines
- Create named awards for student research and writing
