EMPOWERING PROGRESS: PREVENT, TEACH, AND REINFORCE POSITIVE BEHAVIORS IN STUDENTS WITH AUTISM
The Prevent Teach Reinforce Model is an evidence-based positive behavior support process for developing and implementing individualized student support plans as part of Tier 3 systems. This is a three-part virtual training series. These sessions will not be recorded.

Part I: Friday, March 21, 2025 - 8:00-9:15am What will be discussed: Core and Associated Characteristics of ASD, Teaming, Goal Setting, Behavior Definition, and Baseline Data Collection
Part II: Friday, March 28, 2025 - 8:00-9:15am What will be discussed: Functions of Behavior, Prevention Strategies, Teach Strategies, Reinforcement, and Student Support Plans
Part III: Friday, April 11, 2025 - 8:00-9:15am ECHO for Educators
How does an ECHO work? *Join an online video conference that lasts 75 minutes *Discuss and share case presentations by participating educators *No PHI will be discussed
If you would like to receive CEUs, a $5 registration fee per session will apply. Each session is eligible for 1.25 contact hours for CTLE, NASP, NYS Social Workers, NYS LMHC, and NYS Psychologists.

University at Albany, SUNY, Center for Autism and Related Disabilities is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Mental Health Practitioners as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed mental health counselors. #MHC-0194.
New York State Social Workers
Center for Autism and Related Disabilities, SW CPE, is recognized by the New York State Education Department State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed master social workers # 0292.
New York State Psychologists
Center for Autism and Related Disabilities is recognized by the New York State Education Department State Board for Psychology as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed psychologists in NYS #PSY-0083.
There is a $5 registration fee per session for each CEU selected. CEUs can be selected during registration and payment can be submitted online with a credit card or purchase order.
Each organization/entity uses their own calculation to determine the number of CEUs based on contact hours. As with all continuing education, the attendee should verify CEU requirements by their professional organization and/or state licensure board.
