William L. Reese II, Ph.D., Emeritus Center
Established in 2006, the University at Albany's Emeritus Center is an association of retired faculty, administrators and professionals who have been granted emeritus status.
The Center encourages emeriti to continue pursuing the University’s mission of teaching, research, and service. The newly established Three Voices Grant Program is intended to foster and support such activity by emeriti.
With a strong sense of community, the Center sponsors a rich variety of speakers and ambitious series of educational and cultural programs throughout the year at the Center’s home: Room 134 in the University Administration Building, 1215 Western Avenue. Programs are open to current and retired faculty and staff and to the public.
The emeriti elect the Center’s Board of Directors for two-year terms, and the Board elects the Center’s officers
