About
Dr. Dashiell is an advisory electrical engineer at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) developing advanced submarine nuclear propulsion and power systems since 2002.
His technical expertise includes the areas of energy conversion, power electronics, control theory, electric-machinery and integrated power systems. Prior to joining NNL, he worked in the area of semiconductor physics and photovoltaics and was a post-doctoral fellow at the Max Planck Institute of Solid-State Physics in Stuttgart, Germany.
In addition to teaching at SUNY, he has been an associate adjunct professor at Clarkson University.
