Amy Siskind joined CHSR in 2021. She is currently working on the evaluation of the SAMSHSA System of Care Expansion Grants and the Preschool Development Grant Birth Through Five Initiative. She is experienced in qualitative and quantitative methodologies, including ethnographic and focus group research as well as survey and quasi-experimental design

Amy received her B.A. in Economic History from the City University of New York, holds an M.A. in Geography from Columbia University and a Ph.D. in Sociology from The New School for Social Research. She is the author of a book, The Sullivan Institute/Fourth Wall Community, as well as several book chapters about the impact of high control communities on children.
