Rural Law Initiative Collaboration

CHSR partnered with the Government Law Center at Albany Law School in a project to understand the dearth of available legal services in rural areas. This project was part of a collaboration between the Government Law Center’s Rural Law Initiative Government Law Center’s Rural Law Initiative and SUNY Cobleskill’s Institute for Rural Vitality.

Evaluation & Research

The CHSR assisted in survey design, dissemination, and analysis of a multi-mode survey of attorneys in rural New York. Findings from the survey informed the current status of rural legal practice.
