  • Office for Innovation Development and Commercialization: Our colleagues help UAlbany students, faculty and staff develop, protect and commercialize their innovations and/or establish collaborations with researchers from other institutions or private companies to further this work. 
     

  • Albany Small Business Development CenterThis UAlbany-managed program helps small businesses access capital, business development, one-on-one training, peer mentoring and support. 
     

  • Blackstone LaunchPadUAlbany’s on-campus business incubator supports UAlbany students, faculty and alumni. 
     

  • University at Albany Bioscience Development Corporation (UABDC)The University’s Health Sciences Campus offers a biotech cluster where companies can rent research, lab and office space. 
     

  • Center of Excellence in Weather and Climate Analytics: This UAlbany center is New York State’s entrepreneurial hub for more than 120 researchers who are deeply engaged in advancing innovative weather and climate research applications with a variety of New York businesses. 
     

  • Corporate Engagement at UAlbanyComprehensive and strategic, UAlbany’s corporate engagement initiative provides a tailored approach to help navigate and maximize your partnership with the University.
     

  • Center for Economic GrowthThis nonprofit organization serves businesses interested in growing in or moving to the Capital Region, offering incentives, entrepreneurship and workforce training, information on real estate, demographics and business climate, and more.
     

  • SUNY TAF (Technology Accelerator Fund)This SUNY program helps faculty members and researchers secure critical gap funding to “de-risk” their innovations, so their technological inventions are better prepared for commercialization.
     

  • Empire State Development's Division of Science, Technology and InnovationNYSTAR allows businesses to leverage New York State's technology strengths to produce new products and offers other innovation development support resources, including financial incentives, to foster university collaboration, research and innovation.
