Dear Members of the UAlbany Community,
Please be advised of the following work occurring on the Uptown Campus at the Writing and Critical Inquiry Center in the basement of the University Library. This work is necessary to replace the battery in the emergency lighting inverter. During this time, work will result in power outages to some exit signs and hallway lights in the suite.
Work is expected to begin on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 7:00 AM and is expected to be completed by Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 3:00 PM.

Batteries will be replaced in the University Library Writing and Critical Inquiry Center emergency lighting inverter. The unit will need to be shut down to safely replace the batteries, which will result in some hallway lights and exit sign outages.
