Dear Members of the UAlbany Community,
Please be advised of the following critical work occurring on the Uptown Campus. This work is necessary to support an emergency repair to our hot water system.
Work is expected to begin on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at 7:00 a.m. and is expected to be completed by Monday, August 11, 2025, at 12:00 noon.
Campus: Uptown Campus
Building(s): Boor Sculpture Studio, Broadview Center, Empire Commons, Freedom Apartments, Indigenous Dining Hall, ITB, Liberty Terrance, State Dining Hall
Reason for Notification:
Emergency repair to our hot water system.

During this period, domestic hot water will not be available in any Uptown building, except for the following buildings:
• Boor Sculpture Studio
• Broadview Center
• Empire Commons
• Freedom Apartments
• Indigenous Dining Hall
• ITB
• Liberty Terrance
• State Dining Hall
