Colonial Quad - Planned Power Outage

Dear Members of the UAlbany Community,

Please be advised of the following work occurring on Colonial Quad affecting all buildings. This work is necessary to support the Colonial Quad Paine, Zenger and Campus Recreation Project. During this time work will result in loss of power on the quad.

Work is expected to begin on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 7:00 AM and is expected to be completed by Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 4:00 PM.

Reason for Notification:

Power shut down of the entire quad for cleaning of electrical equipment

Estimated Start: Sat, 07/13/2024 - 07:00

Estimated End: Sat, 07/13/2024 - 16:00

Critical Work Description or Scope:

Power to the entire quad will be shut down at approximately 7am on Saturday July 13, 2024 to allow cleaning of the main electrical switch gear in Paine hall. Power will be restored by 4pm on Saturday the 13th

Potential Impacts on Surrounding Areas:

Card access will not be operational on the quad, along with elevator access for the tower.
