Lecture Center Renovation Temporary Construction Barriers Work Zone Signage

Dear Members of the UAlbany Community,

Please be advised of the following work occurring on the Uptown Campus, Lecture Center, LC-23, LC-24 & LC-25 and support rooms. This work is necessary to support the Lecture Center Renovation. During this time work may result in noise and dust.
Work is expected to begin on Monday, June 16, 2025 at 7:00 AM and is expected to be completed by Friday, December 4, 2026 at 7:00 AM.

Contractor mobilization and installation of temporary construction barriers/work zone signage.

Critical Work Description or Scope:

The renovation of the Lecture Centers LC-23, LC-24 & LC-25 will begin with the contractor starting to mobilize and installing temporary construction barriers/work zone signage.

The general scope of the renovation includes the following. 
a.    Replacement of air handling units and all related fans, pumps, ductwork, DDC controls
b.    Abatement and selective demolition
c.    New ceilings, seating, and finishes
d.    Electrical, telecommunications, and audiovisual system upgrades

-    Noise
