Alumni Quad-Alden, Waterbury, Pierce - Repair Natural Gas Main Line

Work Alert Notification

Dear Members of the UAlbany Community,

Please be advised of the following work occurring on the Alumni Quad. This work is necessary to support the repair of a gas line.
Work is expected to begin on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 7:00 AM and is expected to be completed by Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 12:00 PM.
Preparation of the site work will include digging and excavation on Friday during the day. National Grid will shut off the gas at 8:00 PM on Friday and will remain off till approximately 4:00 AM on Saturday. During this time, there will be no hot water or heating.
