Dear Members of the UAlbany Community,
Please be advised of the following work occurring in the Pine Bush and Ion Beam Lab (Linear Accelerator) buildings as part of the Academic Podium Pine Bush ADA Toilet Rooms Renovation project. This work is necessary to support upgrades to the plumbing system.
Work is scheduled to begin on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 4:00 AM and is expected to be completed by Friday, July 10, 2026, at 11:30 AM.
During this time, domestic water service to the Pine Bush and Ion Beam Lab buildings will be unavailable. Please utilize restroom and kitchenette facilities in adjacent buildings during this outage.

Critical Work Description or Scope:
The domestic water supply line serving the Pine Bush and Ion Beam Lab buildings will be shut down to allow for the replacement of the main water valve that services the buildings’ restroom facilities.
Potential Impacts on Surrounding Areas:
Water service to the Pine Bush and Ion Beam Lab buildings will be unavailable from 4:00 a.m. until approximately 11:30 a.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026. Restrooms and kitchenettes in these buildings will not have water service during this period.
